A new commissary kitchen was recently built primarily to service the growing needs of local fast food chain Binalot Fiesta Foods. It is owned by Bienvenido Food Supply Corporation. Established in 2017, it has steadily grown in terms of equipment, manpower and capability.
To support this new kitchen, it now has its own walk-in freezer and chiller, meat processing equipment, high pressure stoves and even a fully operational sewage treatment facility. It is also now in the process of securing its Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) certification to be able to better identify and prevent hazards that may render food unsafe to complement its stringent post-production, inline and end-of-line product quality testing. This will enable BFSC to extend its reach and start serving the food service requirements of more customers that include toll packing for them.
BFSC President Rommel Juan says that they are now widening their horizon, from just serving their family-owned Binalot fast food chain to slowly branching out to service convenience stores, institutional customers in commercial and industrial zones and even ready-to-eat meals for takeout or home delivery.
"We have competent and professional personnel who are very experienced in the food service industry. We constantly train them to further improve their skills and knowledge. And we reinforce this by investing in the proper equipment for us to efficiently produce high-quality food products. This new commissary kitchen is a testament that we are in for the long haul".
